In Greek mythology, the Oread nymphs lived in the mountains, valleys and ravines. The rocky regions they chose to call home can be seen in this Oreads abstract clock’s modern design. The base of this clock is done in a freeform design that reminds one of a towering mountain peak. The color combination in which the steel base is painted—steel blue, tawny beige and snow-capped white—also brings to mind majestic mountains. A round textured clock face in a tonal taupe has circular cutouts to mark the quarter hours.
