My wife and I were brand-new homeowners in the autumn of 2006, looking all over the place for the perfect home accents and decor to turn our first house into our home.

And we were quickly learning that’s easier said than done. My wife was always in the local retail stores or online searching for the next decorating touch. The problem was finding just the right item at just the right price—and, sometimes, both of those tasks seemed impossible.

Shouldn’t there be one source for all our wall decor and home accent needs? That’s the question we asked that night over that relaxing glass of wine.

I have always had a dream of opening my own online store, and my wife is all about decor—she knows the field and she loves it, and she has an unerring eye for all the decorating touches that turn a house into a home. And we had learned the hard way there was a need for one-stop shopping, backed by quality, value and service.

And that’s how Wall Decor and Home Accents was born. We decided to open an online store that sells mirrors, clocks, tapestries, wall shelves, stunning architectural pieces, metal decor and everything you can think of for decorating the walls of your home.
